Learn how to update, view, and edit your Category fields for a specific marketplace in bulk using this template
The Category Specific Add/Update template can serve you in two ways. It will show you all the data that's been input in the Category section of your listings, as well as allow you to update said data. Unlike the Missing Category Specific template, this will show you every field of every SKU active on Listing Mirror.
If you're looking to resolve errors, we recommend using the previously mentioned template, as it only shows you missing fields that require listing data.
Downloading Templates
To start, you'll want to go to the Bulk Edit Templates page. You can find that under Listings on your menubar. From the dropdown, select Category Specific Add/Update, and click Download. This template will allow you to pick a specific marketplace, so you're able to refine your results. Keep in mind, not every marketplace in Listing Mirror allows you to edit categories.
Editing Templates
Predefined Fields
This spreadsheet, as stated previously, will contain all category specifics that could relate to any of the SKUs on the spreadsheet, so it can be overwhelming. We recommend using this template in small SKU batches.
It does have the required fields in yellow as well, and can be very handy when wanting to fill out category specifics that are not necessarily required, but will help with buyers finding your products.
User Custom Fields
If you need to input custom information, you're able to do so at the end of the predefined columns. Predefined columns are anything that we generated for you. To add custom data, add the information to Row 2. To define what data you want there, you can then input data into the corresponding column for that SKU. Here's an example:
Column BV would be Custom Key 1, and the rows below it would be the information input under Custom Value 1. There's no limit to how many custom fields you can have, but we recommend not going overboard with how many you decide to add.
Uploading Templates
Finally, once you've completed editing your template, you'll want to head back to the Bulk Edit Templates page and upload your template. Select Category Specific Add/Update from the dropdown, then simply hit Upload.
You can check the progress of the upload on the Bulk Upload History page, under reports on the menubar. If there are any errors, you can read about them on your Notification History page.
