Would you like us to skip certain fulfillment methods depending on the number of items in that order? We can do that for you!
Why would I use this?
If a fulfillment method gives discounted fees for multiple item orders, you may want to prioritize that inventory source in those cases. If you often want to prioritize your Deliverr inventory source you could still place that at the top of your enabled Inventory Sources (found on the Inventory tab of your channel integration). However, say another inventory source gives discounted rates for multiple item fulfillment, you want to use that method when more than 1 item is included in an order. You can simply place Deliverr at the top of enabled Inventory Sources and edit that inventory source to have a Max order size of 1. Then any order that only has 1 item would be sent to Deliverr, but any order with more than 1 item on it would go to the next available inventory source for fulfillment.
This can fit many different business workflows, and help you get your orders to the fulfillment methods that make the most sense and save you the most money.
How do I turn this on?
You'll want to enter in the maximum number of items per order that you want for that inventory source in the Max order size field. You can find this option by going to Inventory > Show Inventory Sources > and then selecting the inventory source you wish to edit.
Can I set this up for multiple different inventory sources?
Yes. You may configure your different inventory sources to have any combination of max order sizes. We'll work our way down your enabled inventory sources list for that order and if none meet the requirements of the order, it will then be set as MF (manufacturer fulfilled).
Note on Auto-Split Fulfillment:
This feature is not compatible with the Auto-Split Fulfillment feature in Listing Mirror. If Auto-Split Fulfillment is enabled for a channel, orders coming in on that channel will ignore the Max Order Size setting.
