The Notification
If you see a notification about an MCF order with the following text:
Complete Partial on Amazon
After accepting a fulfillment request, Amazon could only ship out part of the order.
The following orders will need manually partially or fully fulfilled
Here's what you need to know!
What does this mean?
What this means is we sent the order to Amazon to fulfill and they accepted the whole order. Then, they were able to fulfill only part of the order and not the full order. They marked the order with a "COMPLETE_PARTIALLED" status, and Listing Mirror got that status from Amazon. Then Listing Mirror sends you this notification.
Why can this happen?
Listing Mirror does send all MCF orders as "Fill Or Kill", directing Amazon to either fill the entire order or cancel it. That should prevent "COMPLETE_PARTIALLED" orders from happening, however in some very rare cases they do still send us this status. Either because part of the order was shipped before they realized they could not fulfill the rest, or some other similar issue on Amazon's end.
What should you do?
You will need to either:
- Fulfill the missing parts of the order with MF quantity OR
- Issue a partial refund for the missing item(s) to the buyer
You can find more details on those processes on our Order Fulfillment article.
