Quantity Change can be caused by a number of things including orders, cancelled orders, listings edits, and bulk changes.
Whenever the quantity for an item changes, you will be able to find the change and cause in the Inventory History for the item. I'm going to show a few examples of quantity changes.
Here we can see this item has steadily been going down in quantity for the MF inventory source. We show the reason, which is an order, and we even show the Order # in the Details column so you can head over to that order if you need to.
This will look exactly the same for a cancelled order, except the MF inventory will go up to indicate returned quantity if the order was cancelled on the marketplace.
Next, we can see an example of a user-changed quantity.
Here we see the MF quantity go to 0, then back up to 800. In the Reason column, we can see Listing Edit. This means someone came into Listing Mirror and manually updated the Quantity. Under the Details column, you will see the email address associated with the user that changed this quantity.
This will look exactly the same for a bulk upload change, except the Reason will say Bulk Update instead of Listing Edit!
If you have a 3PL (Non-MF inventory source) you will see an additional Reason, which is the 3PL syncing your Quantity to us. You'll see the changes on the inventory history page, just like orders and user changes, but it will be listed as a Quantity Sync. This means whatever integration you have set up for your 3PL sent us information on your quantity. Here you can see an FBA inventory sync.
