The first step to setting up your Google Shopping integration, is to have a Google merchant account. Once you've got your Google merchant account set up, you can go to Integrations on your menubar, then Manage Integrations in Listing Mirror. Click Connect a new integration, and select Google from the list.
From there, you will be prompted to log into the Google Shopping account to complete the integration.
After the integration is set up in Listing Mirror, you'll want to set up your shipping in Google.
First, in your Google account, you'll click on the wrench and choose Sales Tax:
You will have 3 choices on this page, but only the bottom 2 will work with Listing Mirror. Choose your option and click save in the bottom right:
Note: this setting can take a few hours to take effect, so as soon as you set it, google may report no tax setup.
Next, you'll go back to the wrench in the upper right, and choose Shipping and Returns:
Then, to add your first shipping service, click on the blue plus sign:
Selecting a Service Area will give you the appropriate fields to set up your shipping options. You are required to have at least 1 shipping service that applies to all of your listings.
If you want to be more advanced, you can use Shipping Labels. You can choose this when adding a new shipping rate at the bottom of the add shipping service page. Choose Filter products by shipping label and then type the label you want to use.
These shipping labels are just like tags. In Listing Mirror on the edit listings page for your Google Shopping listings, you'll see a Shipping Label field.
You'll apply the shipping label on that listing, and if the shipping label in Listing Mirror matches a shipping label in Google, we will apply that particular shipping service to the listing!
Similar to Walmart, Google Shopping as the concept of "accepting orders." By default, Accept Orders will be disabled. If you are integration your Google Shopping store with LM, we recommend enabling Accept Orders, so LM can control this aspect based off the inventory found in LM. If you have another software that was accepting your orders, you will want to turn that off so LM can take over.
From here, it's customizing your shipping services, and listings, but your integration should be set up and ready to go. If you have any questions about your Google Shopping integration, please reach out to support!
