Listing Rules is a great feature Listing Mirror offers that can cut down on your time spent editing single listings, or even bulk editing listings. If you have a category specific field (fields found under the category tab in the listing) that will always be the same, but doesn't auto-populate from Listing Mirror, setting up a rule is the best option!
The example we are using in this article will be setting the "HasPricePerUnit" field. This field is typically for people selling items in bulk, and want to show what the price/unit breakdown would look like. If you aren't using this field, setting it to "No" is what you'd like to do, but it can get tedious with the amount of listings you have! So, we are going to show two different ways to do this!
In this first example, this rule is set up if you want the field to always be "No", regardless of what it may be. Please note that with Category Specific Fields, because there are so many of them, you will have to type the field in manually, exactly how it shows up on the edit listing field.
If you'd like to only set the fields that don't have an option chosen to be "No", the rule will look a little different because we are going to specify that the category specific field is blank.
You'll see a new field in this rule, Filter value, that is just the field we are considering when deciding what we are putting in the HasPricePerUnit field. Think of this rule as saying "If category specific field field value is empty, set category specific field field name as field value." and fill in the blanks for what needs to be considered!
