Creating Kit Recipes
Once you've enabled advanced inventory for your account, any inventory item that you do not create a Recipe for, will behave as a normal Listing.
Warning: Creating a Recipe for a new listing with a new component will default the component quantity to 0. You should have your component quantity saved off in an excel download to use later for setting component quantity.
There are two ways to create a Kit Recipe, one at a time or in bulk. To create a Kit Recipe for a single Listing, go to the Inventory tab and click the little book icon:

From here, you can add new Component SKUs, or link to previously created Components. In this case, we are saying that this shoe is made up of 1x Shoe Sole, and 2x Shoe Lace. Clicking save will convert this listing to a Kit, and remove any existing inventory tied to the Listing.
TIP
We advise naming the Component SKU differently than your Listing SKU. It will be less confusing when you are trying to keep track of things.
The other method to create Kit Recipes is to go to the Bulk Edit Templates page, and selecting the Kit Recipes template. This will allow you to add or delete the Kit Recipe linked to any Master SKU.

The sample Kit Recipe for the Boot listed as created above created in bulk form would look like so:
#1 Component SKU is the first component in this Kit Recipe, #1 Component Quantity is how many of that Component make up the Recipe, and so on.
After this spreadsheet is complete, you simply upload it on to the same Bulk Edit page it was downloaded from, and it will create your new Kits!
Editing Kit Recipes
From the Components tab, you will want to click on the book.
That will pull up a modal where you can edit the units per kit in the recipe.
Please keep in mind that this is NOT the where you update quantity. This refers specifically to the number of units each component will have in recipe.
