This document will show you how to control inventory levels by the SKU rather than having all listings in a channel configured the same. Recently added as a new feature, SKU Level Inventory Source is an option that you can turn on if you need to choose how to fulfill inventory broken down by the individual SKU. Currently, the default is defined at your initial account setup for inventory sources going to each market.
Note: if a SKU has been converted into a Kit and points towards a component, SKU Level Inventory will not work for it.
In example, we show FBA (Fulfilled By Amazon) and MF (Merchant Fulfilled) inventory on eBay, however we only show MF inventory on Walmart. You will now have the option to select your inventory on the SKU level.
What is 'Inventory Source'? Inventory source is the location where inventory is kept, for example in a private warehouse or your personal FBA inventory.
In Listing Mirror, the normal setup is to decide which inventory sources are shown for sale on which channel. For example, inventory sources FBA and MF are shown on eBay, but only inventory source MF is shown on Walmart. SKU level inventory source takes this one step further as it allows you to override the inventory source at the SKU level. For example, even though we want FBA and MF to both show on eBay, SKU: MY-SKU-1234 is a very heavy item and I want to NOT show the FBA inventory (only the MF inventory). I can use SKU Level Inventory Source to only show MF inventory for SKU MY-SKU-1234.
To turn this feature on, you will need to follow these steps:
1.) You will go to your business on Listing Mirror. https://reflector.listingmirror.com/listing/show/
2.) Click on your Business name, select 'Business Settings'.

3.) Here you will check the box that states "SKU level inventory source".
4.) From here, go to the Listing Summary Page and notice that there is now a new "SKU Level Inventory" tab that has been added
5.) From this tab, the first thing you will notice are the "FBA" and "FBM" rows with boxes to check. In this example shown, Amazon & eBay are only utilizing "FBA" for their inventory. If you would like to have certain SKUs pull FBM inventory, you can check the box under the "FBM" column for the SKU that you would like to associate FBM inventory with and select "Update Inventory Sources" in the top left of this tab.
Be sure to remember that you will need to add MF (merchant fulfilled) quantity to the SKUs that you enabled FBM on the "Inventory" tab.
If you need instructions on how to add MF quantity, we have an article you can view linked right here.
