Learn how Bulk Edit Templates can simplify managing multiple listings.

Bulk Edit Templates are the premier tool for managing your listings in bulk in Listing Mirror. These can range from updating fields, adding listings, changing quantity, changing warehouse locations, and more.

To access Bulk Edit Templates, you'll want to log into your Listing Mirror account, click Listings from the menu bar, and select Bulk Edit Templates from the dropdown.

Downloading Templates

Once you're on the Bulk Edit Templates page, you'll be greeted with a dropdown to pick your template, as well as a download & upload button. 

From here, you can select the template you'd like to download, then click download. How long it takes to download a template will vary based on how many listings you have, and how much data is in those listings. Keep this in mind before reloading the page, or starting from the beginning. 

Uploading Templates

After you've edited the data in the spreadsheet, you'll want to upload it back into Listing Mirror. Click upload, then select the file you'd like to upload. Make sure you've selected the proper template from the dropdown before uploading to avoid consequences. How long this takes will depend on how much data you're trying to edit, as well as how fast your upload speed. If you'd like to gauge how fast your upload (and download) speed is, please consult an internet speed test checking website. 

You can check the status of your upload in your Notification History. If there are any errors, you'll get a report in your notification history. 

Bulk Upload Reports

If you check your notifications, and you see errors have occurred, you can attempt to learn more from the reports page. You can find that under Reports on the menu bar, then click Bulk Upload Reports. 

From here, you can see the date it was uploaded, who uploaded it, which template it was, if it passed or failed, how many listings were updated, and how many failures there were. 

Keep in mind, if you update 100 listings, but updates only says 50, that means 50 listings were changed, and the other 50 listings didn't have their data modified because it matched what was already in the template. 

You have the option to download these templates you've updated to look them over for various errors, should they report back with them. This effectively stores all past templates for future use.
