You may have received the following "Incomplete" message on one of your eBay marketplace listings and wondered why you need to input an MPN for certain marketplace listings. eBay is always updating its rules and guidelines to improve customer experience. Sellers who list branded items in new or manufacturer refurbished condition are required to include the item's brand, manufacturer part number (MPN), and global trade item number (GTIN) to complete new marketplace listings.
To resolve this, you will need to follow the instructions within the message and input an MPN from the listing tab on the marketplace listing edit page.
Once you have entered an MPN and Brand to the eBay marketplace listing, save changes and after the pending sync complete the item will go live on eBay.
In rare cases an MPN may not exist you can then use Does Not Apply
