Learn how to view, manage, and strategically use duplicate Amazon listings within Listing Mirror
A duplicate listing happens when you have multiple SKUs that point to the same ASIN. For example, you have one FBA SKUs, and one FBM SKU that all point to a single ASIN.
Listing Mirror is built on the concept that each product is assigned one SKU, regardless of how many SKUs that product may have. This is done to make sure your inventory is tracked properly, and nothing over or undersells.
Finding Duplicate Listings
Duplicate listings are specific to Amazon within Listing Mirror. To find them, follow the steps below.
1. From the Manage Listings page, select your Amazon marketplace. You can also select Amazon from the Listings tab on the menubar.
2. At the top left, click Amazon Actions, selecting Manage Duplicate Listings from the dropdown.
From here, you'll see your duplicate listings. You can use the search feature to search by SKU, ASIN, or Title.
NOTE: Clicking Delete From Amazon will remove the listing from your Amazon seller account, regardless of your integration settings.
SKU Shown On Manage Listings Page
Listing Mirror does not allow you to switch the pre-assigned SKU of a product. If you do want to display a different SKU on your Manage Listings page, refer to our article on changing SKUs.
When you have both an FBA & FBM SKU assigned to the same ASIN, we'll display whatever SKU imports first, be it FBM or FBA.
Duplicate FBM SKUs
Listing Mirror will designate one FBM SKU to be the primary SKU. This will be the first SKU imported, but you're able to switch them using the Make FBM Primary option. Your primary SKU will be the product we send quantity to, while the non-primary SKUs will be handled based on your Amazon integration settings.
Duplicate FBM Strategy
In the Advanced tab for your Amazon integration settings, you'll find your strategy options. Here's what each of them mean:
1. Ignore
We won't touch the quantity for the non-primary FBM SKU. The SKUs won't share quantity, which can lead to overselling. Only use this option if your intent is to have the quantity be different between the SKUs. You'll need to manage the non-primary FBM SKU quantity on your Amazon seller account.
2. Sync Zero to Duplicates
We will only sync quantity to the primary FBM SKU, not both. This is to prevent overselling. Any non-primary FBM SKUs will be set to zero quantity.
3. Copy to Duplicates
We will take the quantity from the primary FBM SKU, and send it to the non-primary FBM SKUs.
Duplicate FBA SKUs
If you have duplicate FBA SKUs, your quantity will be displayed as the sum of all duplicates. When filling orders, we'll fill them from lowest to highest quantity based on the SKU. If one SKU had 5 quantity, and another had 10, we'd pull from the SKU with 5 until it was zeroed out.
